HCJM is co-hosting a free week-long summer program for HISD students that will take place at Rice University, where accommodations and food will all be provided.
Monday, June 12th to Friday, June 16th
• Experience life on a college campus – stay in dorms, eat at the serveries, work with college
professors
• Unique arts-based program focusing on environmental and climate justice that addresses
science, policy, and activism
• Meet other students interested in the environment
• Students will participate in daily workshops, go on field-trips around Houston, and meet
community leaders and field experts
• Open to any students in HISD schools
